Of course sheltering in place would be the ideal or desired scenario, but that may not be possible
Additionally, you may be out and about in your vehicle and some event occurs suddenly and you are unable to get back to your home for a day, for 2 days, maybe longer.
It would be wise to have a few things at hand, and in your vehicle.
Water is going to be the number one thing you will always need!
